Texas: day 171
Some days Texas feels positively Mexican; today is one of those days and it’s GREAT> i mean I’ve never been to mexico (only France and once) but when these days happen the Mexican spirit envelops me and and I wear my fiesta dress to the gym. Currently things are things, there is more TO DO but i am still waiting for my horse calendar to flip to march because I have tired of looking at the february horses galloping on beaches. Nothing worse than a wet horse. In the meantime meaningful time has replaced menial time because when Gd opens a door He closes a window. Skyler says things are cyclical and I support that notion for today, Feb 26, 2007. This is today.

I have been finding little mysterious ways to earn money (as to never, ever have to work at Plucker’s Wing Factory a/o Wing Zone). Today I participated in an economics experiment and cleaned house with $20. On a sad note, I did not qualify for the underwater body composition test, which was offered today in Intro to Nutrition. Otherwise, I can’t complain!

Attention: I have acquired a job. It is at The Daily Texan which is the newspaper for The University of Texas-Austin that has won many important awards and has a circulation of upwards 30,000. My job is writing a weekly column that will be published in print and on-line every WEDNESDAY. Wednesday is my day. Remember that. This job IS a paying one. I should not brag but let’s just say making rent got twelve dollars easier.
