Texas: day 2.112

Ants. The first few were cute but then I discovered over one million having a time in my plant plates. Apparently the panacea for ants in plants is baby powder + white vinegar but i only had gold bond + raid so here’s hoping. sadly, plant corner, which had been my glory, my love, of this texas autumn, is now a shell of its former self. a chicken plucked. a dog neutered in the night. a pig skinned.

Anecdote:
One time, I had a friend named Daniel, who is actually still my friend. One time I was in Paris France during June and Daniel was there too, but we were not there together. That April, before we went our separate ways to Paris France we sat in Kline Commons in Annandale-on-Hudson New York and discussed our separate trips to France while eating a lunch of gardenburger patties, yellow oranges and sprinkles. We decided that we would meet at the back left leg of the Eiffel Tower on June 5 at 3:30 p.m. France Time. Given our collective flakiness and anti-European dispostions the probability of this meeting seemed very low. Nevertheless on June 5th at 3:34 p.m. I flung myself under the eiffel tower and who was also there but Daniel! I even totally went to the back right leg of the tower bc i’m mildly dyslexic but we still found each other. Dreams do come true.

I have to go memorize the play i’m in (“Oleanna,” by David Mamet, Dec 6-9 8 p.m. in Burdine) because it’s like, next week. joke’s on me!
