Texas: day 3.91

Riff of the day ! do it.

I wake up at 7:51 when the coffeepot goes off. I am trying a new breakfast of milky oatmeal and an unorganic banana. I like it but the salt to cinnamon ratio in the oatmeal is difficult to perfect. I take my breakfast in front of Page Six. This is a treat. Then I read my three papers and seven blogs. Sometimes I take a shower. Then I ride my bike to work.

  1. Lately I’ve been flirting with the idea of sleeping in. When I finally drag myself out of bed, I prepare 16 ounces of organic coffee with a splash of not organic 2% milk. I drink my coffee from a Jackson Pollock-themed mug while picking out my shoes and eating a chewable calcium supplement. My current breakfast is plain yogurt mixed with Kashi GoLean Crunch cereal, topped with a banana. It’s delicious, albeit the cereal is a bit too crunchy. I collect my thoughts, find my student ID, and always miss the 101 bus. Then I walk to school.

  2. leigh! i bought some barley bread today to experience how serfs ate. it’s actually delicious …

  3. every morning on the 6 train i lock eyes with a pre-op tranny who thinks i am hitting on him/her/it but actually i am trying to figure out if his/her/its eyebrows are real/tattooed/combo. then people make fun of me at work bc apparently my “clothes never match, omg” but they actually are (underwear + socks, duh)

  4. i wish i had this much routine in my life!
