I am a writer and editor in New York City. From 2021 to 2023 I was the Editor in Chief of Gawker and before that I was Executive Editor of The Outline. I have written and edited for the New York Times, the New Republic, New York Magazine, The Awl, Cosmopolitan, the Associated Press in Cairo, and others. My erstwhile newsletter, Leah Letter, was called by at least one blogger “the best bit of opt-in dyspepsia available these days.”
